I was raised in Cincinnati, OH and went to Ball State University where I studied music in Muncie, IN. After living in Indianapolis, I moved to Washington, DC with my current partner. While in DC, I started my career in Information Technology recruitment. After 3 years we decided to moved to our current home in Chicago, IL where I currently work at Northwestern University as a Talent Acquisition Partner to many various schools and units within our organization.

While I've been an HR professional for 5 years, I'm now looking to make the switch into Information Technology as a junior javascript developer and grow into a more developed coder. I've recently completed the Northwestern Full-Stack bootcamp where I've learned many different technologies.
